Lifetime resident of Davis County.

We are in an important, yet difficult time of growth and change in our country and state, and I look forward to continuing to play a role in shaping the direction of our city as we navigate challenges ahead. It has been a privilege to serve for the past four years as the mayor of Fruit Heights. I have worked hard for the benefit of the members of our community and hope that my continued service to our community will help us build on the legacy left for by our forbearers and the previous leaders of this great city.

 

Our family has lived in Fruit Heights for 25 years.

A lifelong resident of Davis County, I have lived in Fruit Heights for the past twenty-five years. I was born and raised in Bountiful. Debra, my wife of thirty years, and I have five children: Katie, Tiffani, Amy, Jeremy, and Matthew. We raised our children in this community and feel a deep connection to it.

We feel that this community, because of its many strengths, has added to the strength of our family. As Mayor I hope to continue to build on the strengths of our community for the benefit of all the citizens of Fruit Heights.

My work experience can help move the community forward.

I hold a BS degree in Computer Science from BYU. I also attended the University of Utah and BYU-Hawaii. For the past twenty-eight years I have been employed in the health care industry specializing in health care related computing and software development.

My work experience has taught me that careful planning and ingenuity can produce amazing results; I use these same principles to help move our community forward.

We have sunk our roots deep into Fruit Heights.

The ‘home town’ atmosphere of Fruit Heights is unequaled along the Wasatch Front. Fruit Heights is the best-kept secret in Utah. I want to work to make sure that these traditions continue and are improved. My family and I have sunk our roots deep into Fruit Heights and I want to make sure it continues to be the great town that we moved to twenty-five years ago.
